Cat turned my screen upside down!!!

HIT CTRL+ALT+UpArrow to undo it
A cat jumped up on the keyboard. Happens all the time so I didn't really give it a second look. Until..... The screen is upside down. Have never seen my computer screen does that. Turns out the cat stepped on ctrl + Alt + Up arrow. That turns your screen upside down  I had to google the solution upside down.

I wonder what other keys cats could click on to cause computer havoc. I don't recommend letting cats lay on your keyboards any more. My laptop keyboard is broken now. Out of the 26 alphabets , my computer could only type 8. none of the numbers. The enter key is also dead. I don't know exactly what did it but I'm guessing one of them pee on it! Now using a wireless keyboard. I wonder if its worth repairing my laptop keyboard. The only problem I see is when I need to do some changes in bios. USB keyboards are useless then since it only works after windows starts.
Laptops are warm. Cat love of sit on laptop or anything warm. ever seen cats on tvs? I see why they call this thing mouse now. The inventor must have a cat a home. Project your screen on to your lcd tv and your cat will go nuts chasing the mouse cursor.

Well I hope I've help someone today. Struck an idea for an april fools joke for next year?

Animal Cruelty law In Malaysia about to change

Heard on the news today that the animals are going to get better protection from the law from now on. well not now on. from when they decide it in parlimen which is probably next year. Still , I hope this is a message for all those animal abusers that the law is on our side now and I'm not afraid to use it.

Thanks to all that started this off to get the ball rolling. I appreacite it from the bottom of my heart. This proves to me that things CAN change if we all can go at it properly and professionally. Big ups for cat forums, petfinder.my which I will now call petfiner.my ;) The people who took their time to answer the jabatan veterinars's long survey. I have more details on the law part of this blog entry. I dont get law that well but here from someone who does.

Cats need their greens

There are several plants that are suitable for cats as supplements. Two of the top favourites are wheat grass and barley grass. A lot of pet owners might not realise that cats do graze on these greens. Some might even find it amazing when they see a cat take a bite out of a blade of grass. Well they do!. Even cats listens to their mom's "eat your greens" advice.
Cats would regurgitate these plants they took in. Pet owners might see that as a bad sign and stop letting them have their greens. For this purpose, Regurgitation is a good thing. Cats do not have the enzymes to break down the veggies they just chewed. When they do throw up, its going to bring out all the other things they were not designed to digest. Only you know what your cat got their paws into. In fact, you might not even know what.
Just like to us humans, vegetables are nutritional. Wheat grass contains folic acid which is beneficial to the cat. For our purpose, lets just call it vitamins. Cats have the instinct to graze when they need to. Us humans have pepto-bismol and laxative in our arsenal to combat the our digestive problems. Cats use the greens for relief and maintenance.

This link below show in more detail how grass benefits cats.

There are however plants that are dangerous for pets. We might even have it in our home because we didn't know it was harmful. Yes cats have their animal instincts but we can never be too safe. You might want to check on this list I found online. Very long list of plants that are beneficial and dangerous to our furkids.
